Coming together within the spectacular beauty of the Purcell
and Rocky mountain ranges, Invermere is ideally located on the
north shore of Lake Windermere in the beautiful Columbia Valley.

RADIUM
Radium Hot Springs boasts the largest hot springs outdoor pool
in Canada. Visitors can relax in 39 degree Celsius (103 F) mineral
water surrounded by spectacular sheer rock walls that rise high
above the pool.
FAIRMOUNT
Fairmount is home to Canada's largest natural hot springs pool
complex and spa. The hot springs at Fairmount are made up of a group
of pools: a hot soaking pool for relaxing worn-out muscles and a
diving pool for children and adults.

Visitors to the Kootenay Park area can choose from several Rental
Properties in the Invermere region - Wills Cottage at Fairmount
Hot Springs, Bramble House on the lake or Pippa's Place in Fairmount.
There is only one hotel in Invermere, the Best Western Invermere
Inn. The Invermere Best Western is located in the heart of downtown
Invermere within walking distance of Lake Windermere's beaches.
Down the road in Kimberley travellers can stay at the Trickle
Creek Marriott Residence Inn Located right on the hill
in Kimberley this premiere, resort-style inn offers a superb venue
for outdoor recreational opportunities.

Just to the south of Invermere visitors can check out Fernie
Alpine Resort which is host to some of the best
mountain biking in Canada. Fernie offers cross country,
downhill, singletrack and dual slalom trails with and without chairlift
access. Fernie is also host to an internationally sanctioned Canada
Cup Race taking place July 24 - 27.

The area around Invermere is known as a golfer's Paradise with 11
